The Gurkha 125th Anniversay cigar is a very smooth medium bodied smoke. It mixes sweet mild spices and has a very noticable herbal, almost floral, undertone. While not as strong it reminds me of the Gurkha Centurion - I wish they would bring that cigar back. This was a very consistent and flavorful smoke from start to finish.

This is a very well constructed cigar and provides a very even burn with medium to long ash before dropping. I loved the fact that I did not have to relight this cigar and from the first smoke filled draw until the end the draw was very easy and full.

The first third I immediately noted the spices, very rich and peppery and going into the second third the herbal and floral undertones, although noticable but not overbearing, began to kick in. Going into the final third the cigar maintained it's flavor until about the last inch or so and then the flavor began to subside.

Gurkha Cigar Group puts out a wide variety of cigars and some I love and some I'm not so fond of but I have to say that this is one very smooth, consistently flavorful, easy drawing cigar and at the $10 price point I have added this to my weekly lineup.
