Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro VI
Size 5 x 54
The Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro VI is a very well constructed cigar. It has a bright yellow decorative band that showcases the name over. The cigar is has a deep dark brown wrapper which does show some oil but it's not extremely oily. There are a few small veins that run throughout the body of the cigar and it is packed very tight and is very firm from head to toe. It has a somewhat sweet aroma and prior to lighting there is a distinct sweet chocolate taste. The Maduro VI is one of five sizes in the line which includes 5 1/2 x44 II, 7 x 54 IX, 5 x 54 IV, and the 5 1/8 x 52 X.
The Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro lights very easy and it has a really nice draw. It produces a good amount of smoke from the first draw which lasts throughout the smoke experience. This is a surprisingly slow but very even burning cigar and required no relights during the over 90 minutes of smoking.
The flavor of the Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro is somewhat complex and and it's definitely a very smooth full bodied stick. The first third I detected a bit of earth tones blended with the sweetness of the chocolate I detected prior to lighting. The second third the sweetness is met with a bit of spicy pepper which definitely picks up the intensity of the chocolate and combines for a very nice flavor profile. The final third it is a smooth blend of the pepper and more of the earth tones and the flavor and strenth profiles definitely increased as I nubbed the last bit of this cigar. Again, the Siglo Limited Reserve Maduro VI is definitely a full bodied cigar and I highly recommend eating prior to smoking this stick.
This is another cigar that I enjoyed smoking and I highly recommend. It's a nice, complex, very well constructed, smooth FULL BODIED maduro and for those that enjoy a full bodied cigar I say you can't go wrong with this one especially at the price point.
